نام زیادہ تر زیر بحث رہتا ہے۔ مصنف اپنے انٹرویوز میں اس کا جواب جا بجا دے چکے
ہیں۔
استاد
"مطالعہ میرا استاد ہے!" جیسا کہ ابنِ طالب نے مختلف
مقامات پر واضح کیا ہے۔ بارہا انہوں نے بتایا ہے کہ میں ہر مصنف کی عزت کرتا ہوں اور کسی بھی مصنف کی برابری نہیں کر سکتا نہ ہی ان کے قد کو پہنچ سکتا ہوں، سبھی میرے لئے محترم ہیں جیسا کہ انہوں نے مختلف اصناف میں بہت سے مصنفین کو پڑھا ہے، جیسے سید
شاکر عزیر، واصف علی واصف، محی الدین نواب، ایم۔اے راحت، مظہر کلیم، ظہیر احمد، صفدر
شاہین، علیم الحق حقی، اقلیم علیم، اور آخر میں 2019 میں ابنِ صفی کو پڑھا۔
ابنِ طالب کا اپنا اسلوب ہے جو کسی بھی دوسرے
مصنف کو کاپی نہیں کرتا۔ اسی طرح گرین
سیریز بھی کسی دوسری سیریز کی کاپی کا تسلسل نہیں ہے۔ گرین سیریز اپنی الگ ،منفرد
پہچان رکھتی ہے۔ اس کا سیٹ اپ باقی تمام جاسوسی سیریز سے مختلف ہے۔
کردار سازی
گرین سیریز کے تمام کردار خالصتاَََ ابنِ طالب کے اپنے
تخلیق کردہ ہیں۔یہ کر دار نہ تو کسی دوسرے کردار سے ماخوذ ہیں نہ کسی سے مستعار
لئے گئے ہیں۔لارڈ اور ساحر علی گردیزی جیسے کردار صرف گرین سیریز میں دکھائی دیتے
ہیں۔
مصنف کا قلمی نام
سوشل میڈیا پر یہ اعتراض اٹھایا جاتا ہے کہ مصنف کا قلمی
نام "ابن" سے شروع ہو رہا ہے تو ان کا کام ابنِ صفی سے متاثر شدہ ہے یا
کاپی ہے جبکہ مصنف نے واضح کیا ہے کہ انہوں نے 2018 میں لکھنا شروع کیا اور اپنا
قلمی نام اپنے والد کی نسبت سے چنا۔ ابنِ صفی سے مصنف کا تعارف کئی ناول لکھنے کے
بعد ہوا۔ "ابنِ طالب" نام چننے میں وہ کسی سے متاثر نہیں ہیں۔
Inspiration/ Style / Individuality
Among the questions circulating on social media that create confusion in readers’ minds, the identity of Ibn-e-Talib’s teacher, the characters of the Green Series and the author’s pen name are most often discussed. The author has answered these questions repeatedly in his interviews.
Teacher
“Reading is my teacher,” as
Ibn-e-Talib has made clear at various places. He has read so many writers in
different genera like Syed Shakir Uzair,Wasif Ali Wasif, Mohiuddin Nawab, M.A
Rahat, Mazhar Kaleem, Zaheer Ahmed, Safdar Shaheen, Aleem ul Haq Haqi, Aqleem
Aleem, and lastly read Ibn e Safi in 2019.
Ibn-e-Talib has his own style that does not copy any other author. Similarly, the Green Series is not a continuation or copy of any other series. The Green Series has its own distinct, unique identity. Its setup is different from all other detective series.
Characterization
All the characters in the Green Series are purely creations of Ibn-e-Talib himself. These characters are neither derived from nor borrowed from any other characters. Characters such as Lord and Sahir Ali Gardizi appear only in the Green Series.
Author’s Pen Name
On social media, it is objected that
since the author’s pen name begins with “Ibn,” his work is influenced by or copied
from Ibn-e-Safi; whereas the author has made it clear that he started writing
in 2018 and chose his pen name in reference to his father. The author became
acquainted with Ibn-e-Safi only after writing several novels. In choosing the
name “Ibn-e-Talib,” he was not influenced by anyone.
